PETROL PUMPS

(1) Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/JBD.{John B. Dixon - Fuel Systems} has this job in hand.

(2) We agree that the warning light should not come on with 4 to 5 gallons of petrol in the tank. We would suggest 2 to 3 gallons. Dixon has been informed of this and will call for a modification as soon as he has correctly calibrated a Wraith III. petrol tank.

CARBURETTER

The carburetter is fitted with a reduced idle passage which is the Production mod. for popping back in the silencer.

There is one outstanding item, however, on all Wraith cars which should not be lost sight of, and that is the present and latest type of Dunlop tyre is definitely not quiet enough. You would probably not notice this on 25.G.VI. car because you ran on a brand new set of tyres.

The tyre made by the General Tyre Co., U.S.A., is infinitely better for quietness and I think the Dunlop people should again be brought in on this job.
