I confirm mine Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} 6/NJ17.11.21, and acknowledge yours By {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /WER3/EF18.11.21.

With further reference to By {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /C8/F10.11.21, I attach hereto copy of letter from C.A.Vandervell & Co.Ltd. ref.- EL/EM, dated 22nd inst. and shall be glad to have your remarks thereon as soon as possible.

With regard to the Starter Motors, you will note Vandervells cannot give the depth of spigot you desire and ask us to accept .187" instead of .200". Please say if this is acceptable.

When the sample Starter Motor Switch comes to hand, same shall be handed to By. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}

As regards the Switchbox, please say whether the arrangement described meets our requirements. You will note it is not suitable for earth return system. Immediately the promised drawing of Switchbox comes to hand, it shall be handed to By. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}

You will note these people promise to let us have prices in the course of a day or so.

Do you consider it necessary to submit to Vandervells, for their approval, prints giving details of the armature shaft and bearing bracket for the Starter Motor? In the affirmative case, please let me have them as soon as possible.
