On the testing of a condenser from chassis 38-ZG, finding it operational but recommending a new earthing connection to remedy a fault.

In accordance with your By/RD9/ML1.4.24, we have tested this condenser to our standard specification and find it to be O.K., the capacity at 18ºC being .204 mf. The trouble referred to in EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}'s note EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/CEP8/H31.3.24 will probably be remedied if the new standardised earthing connection is fitted, it being considered that the faulty earthing connection has probably been the cause of the failure.
