With reference to Mr Wormald's note Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}/Mcr2/L22114, it is quite clear to Mr Royce what is required but it was not known that the valve spring testing rig in the Experimental Department was in such demand.

Mr Royce has, therefore, given the necessary authority for rigging up another crank case and set of cylinders with the remaining pieces, which will form a suitable high speed testing gear for the springs, providing that scrapped parts are utilized in doing so.

Would you, therefore, kindly issue the necessary instructions to the shops?
