Contd: -2- 11th September, 1936. Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Limited. letter, dealing with the question of Ball Bearing Manufac-turers making the Rollers entirely, I would like to say that, in view of our past experience, we feel very doubtful as regards the advisability of this, even if sample Rollers sub-mitted by them gave a satisfactory test on the road, as suggested by you. I do feel that a better proposition would be for the Bearing people to grind the races and my Company to be responsible for the steel and the heat treatment of the same. I hope you will realise that I am viewing this matter solely in the interest of both your Company and ours. Assuring you of our best attention at all times, I am, Yours faithfully, for ADAMANT ENGINEERING COMPANY, LIMITED. [Signature] Managing Director. Encls: | ||
