Your Ref. TS/HTB/EK.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of 15th. inst. The writer hopes to arrive at your works about 11.am. on Friday, 17th.

With regard to the proposed change-over of facings on existing 10" and 11" plates, we will advise you later, as a definite decision is not reached.

With regard to the last consignment of 13¼" plates, we regret to say that they are the worst we have yet received, on some, even the engine side facing is badly dished and some of the rivets provide very little wear allowance, and we are bringing one of these plates with us for your inspection.

We attach a copy of some remarks re testing for run-out, on which we would be glad to have your comments.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.

P.S. Mr Goodwill is also coming
