Dear Mr. Robotham,

Major Cox has notified me that you would like to have my car back in order that you can deal with the question of high oil consumption, which, curiously, has only occurred since the lead bronze bearings were applied.

I hope to let you have the car during the week-end of the 14th December, as my boy is coming home that week-end and will be returning to Derby, and I shall be glad if you will confirm that I can have it by the following week-end.

Trusting you are well,

Yours sincerely,
Geoffrey Smith
DIRECTOR.
