Dear Sirs, We enclose herewith Drawing D.B.1110, showing details of a flat based pump. Will you please build up three pumps to this drawing at the earliest possible moment. We realise the difficulties you are having in obtaining castings, but your best endeavours to send us through one of these pumps at an early date will be appreciated. With reference to your Order No.38741, calling for union-plugs, etc., for 3 larger capacity pumps, I have seen Mr. Wallis re this, and he is immediately looking into the matter. I also pointed out to him that you would be sending more pumps at the beginning of next week; if, however, he writes to you again, may I suggest that you 'phone him personally and explain the difficulties you are experiencing.
