We are recommending standardising the 19" dia. wheels for all P.ll cars. This will lower the car and should improve the appearance. It will lower the gear ratio of the standard car by 2%, we think this will be an advantage. The engine ishaving a larger diameter crank with balance weights, so that if necessary it will run faster without any difficulty. On the Continental Type cars the 12/41 axle ratio is available. The 19" wheels will effect spare wheel carriers and therefore in some cases may effect the coachwork. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
