Bentley Steering.

We have ordered from the Adamant Engineering Co., a further 1.7/16 double tooth Marles steering gear, similar to the one at present on the bumper chassis except that the ratio of the gear is altered to allow us to use an 8.000 lever and the rockershaft is increased in dia.

This gear is intended for use on the boxed in Bentley frame when this is built into a complete car.

Will you please make the necessary parts for building up this steering in the same way as was done on the last one. The pendulum lever should be 8.000 long and the upper end will have to be of larger proportions to suit the larger shaft. We attach a drawing of the rockershaft that will be fitted to this gear.
