My dear Grylls, Many thanks for your letter of the 8th instant, and for the details regarding the Bentley pinion bearing lubrication, which is now quite clear. With regard to the Oilite cage for the clutch throwout, unfortunately, the size in question is one which we have not as yet made with an Oilite cage, and therefore, it would be necessary for me to get some material from the Oilite people. However, I am getting on to this as quickly as possible, and will forward the three bearings at the earliest possible moment. I presume you will be going up to the Motor Show some time, and while I am only there for odd days, I hope to be able to drop across you. Kindest regards, Yours sincerely, F.O. Hickling | ||
