re 10" Clutch.

Dear Sirs,

We have recently received from you several 10" assemblies in which one of the thrust springs are resting on top of one of the three locating lugs on the pressure plate.

If this fault had not been noticed by us before assembly on an engine, pressure plate end of the spring must have flown out by centrifugal force until it rested against the clutch cover.

Will you please tighten up inspection before despatch, to make sure this does not happen again.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
