Dear Sirs,

X.1581 X.1109

We duly received your letter of the 30th ulto, and in reply we are pleased to inform you that we have two 40 K.W. and one 75 K.W. testing transformers which enable us to attain a maximum of 125,000 volts.

This output and pressure is of course necessary for cable testing but would probably not be required for the purpose indicated in your letter.

For your requirements a transformer for a maximum voltage of say 20,000 volts would most probably suffice, though this depends upon the types and thicknesses of the materials which you propose to test.

If you could favour us with the description of the various types and thicknesses of the material which you propose to test, we shall be pleased to forward our recommendations as regards the testing of them.

Yours faithfully,

For W.T. GLOVER & CO. LTD.
