Dear Sirs,

We are in need of a small transformer for testing insulating materials, and Mr. Royce informs us that you have a satisfactory apparatus for carrying out this work. We shall be very much obliged if you will kindly give us particulars of the apparatus - its capacity and the voltages which can be stepped up to; also what you consider to be the highest voltage required for this purpose.

We presume that the capacity of your apparatus would be very small so as to enable the cost to be kept down and to reduce the risk in operating.

Any information you can give us which would enable us to obtain the best and most satisfactory kind of transformer would be greatly appreciated.

Yours faithfully,
