There are two schemes under test :- (a). Making the lead weight in antimonial lead. (b). Using a 3/8" rubber packing compressed to 1/4". I should recommend fitting antimonial lead weights to both the above, this must increase the life of the weight considerably and may apparently be a complete solution.
