The J.R. Engineering Company,
Olaf Street,
Latimer Road,
LONDON. W.11.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 2nd, from which we note you are not in agreement with our suggestions for lightening the Phantom III bumper bars.

As we explained to you in our previous letter, we are not bumper bar experts, and all we are asking is that you should supply us with bumper bars weighing 10 lbs less than now, made to your own design. Obviously, you should know more about reducing the weight of the bumper bar than we do.

Yours faithfully,

For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
