-2- HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/En.1/MA.12.5.32.Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Measurements shew that our existing thermostat closes the shutters at about 700°C and this can be raised to 750°C if found necessary, but with our hot spot we consider it to be hardly necessary. Summarising the position, therefore, we consider our own scheme is cheaper, more compact, and very little less efficient than the suggested proposal which is really far less practical than it sounds.
