R.R. 350 A (400 T) (S.C. 558. 15-2-16) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 1546. -2- The only part of the magneto in which there is any difference from the standard practice is the armature end plate, the opposite end to the contact breaker. This is of steel instead of the usual brass, and the armature spindle and end plate are in one piece. The magnetos upon being completed are tested on a high temperature, and before being issued from the works are made to give a 7 mm. spark at 120 revolutions per minute. EFC.
