To EFC. from R.{Sir Henry Royce} X 3362 RE MATERIAL FOR WEST WITTERINGHenry Royce's home town. Would you kindly send me ¼ lb each of 20, 18, and 16 S.W.G. Copper Wire, preferably annealed and tinned, and three or four thin sticks of tinman's solder of the usual good quality used for electrical work. What we have bought here is plumber's solder, with large percentage of lead. Also a piece of sheet brass thus - [Sketch of a brass strip with annotations: ABOUT .1" THICK, 4" DIA, 1" HOLE, ROUNDED EDGE] and six countersunk brass screws, as shewn in the sketch - [Sketch of a countersunk screw with annotations: .375 LONG, 3 BA., E 9872] and tap for same. If you have long screws only of this description, I can shorten them. The foregoing material should be charged to my account. Would you also include one tapping drill for 3 BA.
