We are sending you today from our Coventry Works, a set of five flanges for 32" x 4 1/2" rims, as promised when the writer was at Derby some days ago. These flanges are all our own manufacture. We regret we have not been able to send you flanges with the slot 1" away from the end, as the whole of our present stock of raw material is in manufacture and is already at the stage at which the slots are out. The slots in the flanges sent you however, are of the correct shape except for this, and we anticipate receiving a further consignment of the section material used for making these flanges, this week, and we will send you a further sample as soon as possible showing the slot in the new position.
