Dear Hives: Re Lubrication of Clutch Spigot I enclose copy of reply I have sent to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} P.'s letter on this subject, Oy3-W-22723. We use a bush of ordinary cast phosphor bronze with 10% lead. There are probably now 500 Rolls-Royce cars, at least, running in this country, with an individual mileage of anything up to 25,000 miles, without the oil valve or with the valve out of action. Oy.
