contd:- -3- Test 15. Without baffle. 1 syringeful of oil put in at top of clutch. Result. Good film of oil on spigot. Test 16. 1 1/2 syringefuls of oil. Test 17. 2 " " " Test 18. 3 " " " Result. Spigot dry. Result of tests. No oil gets to spigot from draining down flywheel when standing. When oil is put into clutch at the top or over the thrust race, a certain amount gets on to the clutch spigot. This will not get any more oil until oil is again put into clutch over the thrust race. The oil, on draining down, prefers to run round the ball cage and thrust races and then to the bottom of the clutch. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} | ||
