R.R. 521. (100 T) (S.F. 576. 10-4-19) C. 2851. To R.{Sir Henry Royce} From EH. c.c. to CJ. X.2048 EH3/LG10.6.19. 10th. June 1919. Mr. Wormald asked me to try and find a suitable man to send down to you to do odd jobs on the car and electrical work. We have got a young Fitter who I think might be suitable. He was with us as an apprentice- he started with Mr. Platford and had a fair amount of experience before the war on the cars. he has since then worked on testing Aero Engines. For the last 2 years he has been an Improver Fitter in the Experimental Shop. He knows very little about electrical work and has done no wiring but he is quite intelligent and should be able to carry out work to your instructions. Will you say whether he would be suitable and if so when you would like him to come down. EH. | ||
