To RHC. {R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X235 Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /LG26.4.26. SHOCK DAMPERS. We are very anxious to obtain a pair of new type hydraulic shock dampers to be fitted on the 20 HP. at present on the bumping rig for test. Would you please fit these up as soon as they are available. We should also like to get some Hartfords fitted to 44-PK at the same time as the present hydraulics to carry out some comparative tests on the two types. We have received from Ferodo's some special brake linings to eliminate squeaks. We have two complete sets of these linings for the 20 HP. and the 40/50 HP. We should be obliged if you could equip 1-GII chassis with this material at the earliest opportunity, also 12-EX which is shortly going to France. The brake material is at present in the Stores.
