Sidgreaves - MD} Woz E By F.J.H. To H.S I went over the Lincoln Plant yesterday. They were not giving away much information. A run in a K model LeBaron showed it to be rough & noisy like the first one. A surprisingly good new seat radio was the only new human feature. The new 'Tuned Top' or steel roof is said to be a contribution to the noise. The exhaust system is very noisy. Again the Cosival period was noticeable. As the car sells for $1300 one would not expect Cadillac refinement & certainly does not get it. The engine mounting is two front rubbers & one at the rear. In addition there are two huge topsids for soft starts in front to take the torque tube thrust. This doesn't help engine motion. After last evening running according to actual movement at crankshaft more than 6/part character and the deflection of a cast iron crankshaft would also not be conducive to a smooth engine.
