load. The V angle is 73° & the con rods with G side 2 1/2" dia x 3/4" wide. 4 main bearin'gs 2 1/2" diameter. Compression ratio 7.1 : 1. In view of the timing case being fitted ; if the pilot bar work not enter, the nut was slacked off accordingly. The side covers have a fabric cam drive on the only two pins. The distributor is driven at the side at the front of the camshaft in front of the fabric gear. The oil pumps is driven off a sleeve from a the camshaft. They on checked & sealed and am now sure 3 fins out of these are discarded. Hardly any are scrapped. The base limon has a double sleeve chrome upon carburettor facin'g his four port system. The float chamber water jacket is in the lid.{A. J. Lidsey} In the centre the fill in backlash of a pair of gears is .007 to .010 and the chambers were clean and smooth. The Zephyr is also bad in this respect. | ||
