For the attention of Mr. L.J. Lambourn.

Dear Sirs,

We understand from Mr. Hives that some of your people are coming over here to-morrow afternoon.

We are wondering whether you have the figures for the vertical deflection rate of alternative tyres we are thinking of using on the Bentley.

We are interested in knowing at what tyre pressures we should have to run the following types of tyre to give the same degree of comfort as the 5.50 x 18 tyre at 30 lbs pressure. The tyres in question are:-

6 x 17 on a 4" rim
6 1/4 x 17 " " "
6 1/2 x 16 " " "

If you have these figures, we should be glad if you would bring them over with you to-morrow.

Yours faithfully,

For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
