115-8 EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.2/JH. 20th August, 1938. The British Thermostat Co.Ltd., Teddington Works, Windmill Road, Sunbury-on-Thames. MIDDLESEX. For the attention of Mr. Martin Hurst. Dear Sirs, Referring to your letters of 18th Aug. we note that you are charging us £3.0.0d. for the experimental car heater motor supplied, and agree with this charge. You did not however enclose the credit note £2.10.0d. as stated in your letter, but instead enclosed presumably in error, two invoices Nos. 12443 and 70996 which are not connected with the writer - We will be glad if you will forward the credit note in question. Meanwhile we are passing on the invoices to our Accounts Dept. With regard to our order for chassis water temperature controlling thermostats EB.3509 of which about half (100) we believe, have been delivered. We hope to be in a position shortly to change the bellows size of the last 100 units as arranged in our letter of May 10th, 1938, and accordingly do not wish you to commence the manufacture of the last 100 units without getting in touch with the writer. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
