Messrs Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
Derby.

For the attention of Mr.Steadman.

Dear Sirs,

1135

We have received a request from your Accounts Department for credit for the fan belt which you returned to Mr.Longley with your letter dated 14th July.

It will be remembered that this belt ran for about 15 hours on the test bed, and a further 10,000 miles on the road, and in view of this service we do not feel that we should be called upon to give credit. We should, therefore, be very much obliged if you would take this matter up with your Accounts Department, and explain the position.

Yours faithfully,
FERODO LIMITED.
