PETROL GAUGE METER P. 811.

The above meter was returned for sticking and was found to have the top plate of the pivot support distorted.

This causes excessive end and side play, and will also cause the sticking complained of.

Re Petrol Gauge Meter P.751.

The fault on this meter is due to a defective soldered joint between the control coil and deflecting coil.

The defect only became apparent after the instrument was subjected to vibration.
