RR 228 (150 BKS.) (SH57-29-6-20.) MP 224358 X7690 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To E.F.b. Order No. WB{Mr Brazier/Mr Bell} 77 Customer's No. Date 2-3-1926 Distributor rotor with reduced thickness of insulation We have now tested this rotor for breakdown on our H.T transformer. It was found that the H.T. supply did not breakdown the insulation, as an arc occurred between the two electrodes over the surface thus forming a carbonized conducting path. This occurred at a Voltage of 17,800 RMS or 25,200 peak volts. Signed H.E.W. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
