We feel that the necessity for pushing on with independent front wheel suspension is greater than ever, and in the meantime we think it would be well worth while to rig up a Marles roller steering. This type of box does not suffer from loss of efficiency when parking and should allow of more latitude in steerage damping with a suitable choice of lead angle on the worm and overall steering gear ratio.

Chassis Faults.

Starter Motor fails to engage.
Engine luffs up when accelerating.
Engine will not run slowly and use of synchromesh is necessary to stop clutch spinning.
Smell of petrol due to flooding.
Brakes jagger and squeal and pull steering over to left.
Headlamps dimmer not working.

Body Faults.

Too much wind noise.
Sunshine roof leaks water badly.
L.H. front window will not raise.
R.H. front window will not stay down.
Defective ventilation and body collects fumes.

In its present state this car will certainly not compare for refinement with the 8 cyl. Buick we tried recently.
