To Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} [Handwritten: γ 1960] Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}9/MJ.16.6.33. 104 MY. The earliest date at which we can return this car to you will be Wednesday next, the 21st. inst. We realise this is later than we promised but it cannot be avoided. We ran into one serious trouble in fitting the automatic shock dampers which meant that we had to remove the body entirely and alter the position of the side brake lever. We are working day and night and the week end on this job but it will be quite impossible for us to let you have the car before Wednesday. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
