These are the total brake complaints. They include the servo complaints of this quarter but not "brakes" ordinary adjustments". We give below an analysis of these complaints. In the last six months we have come across half a dozen cases on new and comparatively new cars where there has been insufficient working clearance between the liners and the drums or shoes have had insufficient clearance causing binding etc...

B. 60.GA - 23065 kms.- Cleaned and rebedded foot brake liners and re-set pivoted shoes.
B. 85.EJ - 30271 kms.- Rear brakes uneven cleaned and rebedded.
B.210.GA - 12144 kms.- Repetition complaint. Rebedded servo liners and rear foot brake.

Usually overcome by rebed or reline.

B. 66.EF - 27868 kms.- Cleaned & rebedded.
B.101.EJ - 26916 kms. -Rebedded liners and relined pivoted shoes, owner charged 2/3 rds.of cost.

Usually overcome by rebedding and re-setting of pivoted shoes or if necessary relining.
