Dear Mr. Robotham,

This is to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 2nd instant, in which you ask for further information regarding tool costs, etc., of our gearbox, and in addition the saving of time in foundry work.

This information is not immediately available, but we will procure it and let you have details as early as possible.

In any case, we shall be glad if you will ensure that this information when passed to you is treated as strictly confidential.

With regard to the servo mechanism, we have been unable to proceed very far with the tests owing to pressure of other work, but would thank you for your offer to give us any assistance should we require it.

Yours faithfully,
p.p. LEYLAND MOTORS LIMITED.
