V46178 To Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} from EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 3/T6.7.26. RE P.D'S OF EXIDE BATTERIES. With reference to our enquiry to the Chloride Elec.Storage Co. as to whether they are doing anything with a view to reducing the charging potential difference of the two standard batteries which they are supplying to us, and to their letter ECM/EH of the 23rd. ult., our enquiry was more of the nature as to whether they were doing anything experimentally, or considered they could do anything, without impairing the separation efficiency of the elements. However, owing to the fact that the matter is causing us a certain amount of concern, we think it would be a good thing if their Mr. McKinnon would call with a view to discussing this matter technically, as this would keep the Chloride Co. better in line with developments which are taking place in the same direction in the case of the P & R batteries. In any case we have some results and information which we would like to shew to and discuss with Mr. McKinnon. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} | ||
