TUBES IN CYLINDER & CYLINDER HEAD. Origin. Use of copper in place of steel. Experimental Test Report. We are using copper tubes on the 'Phantom' - they are easier to make tight and do not corrode. Road Test Report. Run 10,350 miles on 9-G-111. Run 4000 miles on 8-G-111. No troubles. A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to customers. B Scrap and replace on Chassis in works. C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test. D Use existing stock Alteration effective on future Chassis. Weight of Old Part.
