STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS.

Description of Parts: 20 HP. CHASSIS FITTED WITH 4-WHEEL BRAKES - 4-SPEED GEARBOX.
Origin: To improve design.
Experimental Test Report: The design follows the 40/50 HP. A car identical to production cars is on its way to France for 10,000 miles test.
Road Test Report: Run on 9-G-111 10,000 miles in France. Chief troubles were:- Failure of front springs and servo gear rattling. Since then, springs have been modified, and lubrication to servo gears improved, also leverage to brakes reduced.
Part List:
A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to customers.
B Scrap and replace on Chassis in works.
C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test.
D Use existing stock Alteration effective on future Chassis
Difference per Car. £ 120-13-0 increase
