104 Meeting Dec. 27. 11. Re Magneto rattles. Mr. Platford was of the opinion that the question of overcoming magneto rattles was very urgent, and he wished the Committee to urge any experiments we had in hand. He believed the heavier flywheel had some effect on this matter, and that the noises were worse since this flywheel has been fitted. X430 Mr. Nadin informed the Committee that he had since written the Bosch Co. with reference to this matter but had as yet obtained no satisfaction. He would continue to press the matter. With reference to the new type of Bosch Magneto Mr. Nadin informed the Committee that he has placed an order for 50 of these. The Committee were informed that Mr. Swetnam would submit the revised design of spring controlled magneto gear wheel at the next meeting. 105 Meeting Dec. 28. 11. Re Spring Controlled Gear Wheel For Magneto Distributor Mr. Swetnam submitted a design modified in accordance with the Committee's suggestions. X430 The Committee agreed that one set should be instructed for test purposes. (la{L. A. Archer}) Mr. Swetnam promised to instruct these details by December 29th. X430 | ||
