| X300a G.W. Hancock Esq., Hotel de France, Chateauroux, Indre, France. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}17/KW.5.7.35. We are running 19" rims on the Bentley in the T.T. We are short of wheels. We believe you have 6 wheels in France. Will you please send them back by the normal means of transport. With regard to the trouble on your car, we have now got SpectreCodename for Phantom III II engine unit in exactly the same condition as the one you are running, and attached is an acceleration curve taken on it with a corrected speedometer. Perhaps you would let us know how much your car is down on these figures. We are sorry we forgot the condenser and are having one despatched immediately. There has been a lot of argument about the road springs but this is now settled. The fitter should be out in about 10 days' time with the necessary parts. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} is bringing 21-G-IV to France, so that a serious 10,000 miles test will not start until towards the end of the month. We will give you full particulars later.
