RR 300 (120B) (SF 349 24-1-19) MP 200552 X.2515 91185 ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. INSTRUCTIONS. To E.F.C. Order No. P.A. 15. Customer's No. Re X. X 2515 Test of portion of fuse wire, used for condenser production test. Five tests were made with this #30 S.W.G. wire, when it was noticed that, pressing the wire, and apparently stretching it, and reducing its diameter, had the effect of lowering its fusing current, according to the pressure put upon it. The results are as follows: Test | Amps. | Remarks. 1. | 3.75 | Lightly pressed. 2. | 3.85 | No pressure. 3. | 3.70 | Pressed heavier. 4. | 3.95 | No pressure. 5. | 3.50 | Very heavily pressed. Signed C.A.P. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
