With reference to memo. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}3/F4.11.19, Mr. Cowen has written us this morning stating that he is still unable to let us know which of the chassis delivered are to have low compression and which are to have high compression. He points out that unfortunately this is a matter he cannot decide off-hand as it involves so many considerations, and that after consultation with Mr. Johnson he has arranged to consult a few of our leading Agents after giving them a run on a chassis fitted with high compression pistons. Meantime, we understand that 40 sets of the split type pistons are to be instructed. We suggest that these be made in the proportion of (25) low compression and (15) high compression. EP{G.
