Dept: February 28th, 1919. TELEPHONE AVENUE 7854 (2 LINES). TELEGRAMS, "DICOTTO,FEN,LONDON" E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Hives, Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., Experimental Dept: Nightingale Rd., DERBY. Dear Mr. Hives, Please pardon worrying you, but have you tested the barrel of Motor Oil I sent you? You will remember you promised to put this on your own car. I feel sure you will be interested to learn that we have had a most satisfactory report on our Aero Oil from Messrs. Vickers, on a test carried out on the Dragon-fly Engine. The results are in every way superior to those obtained by pure Castor. As soon as I have a copy of the report, I will send it on for your perusal. My kind regards to you and Mr. Platford. Sincerely yours, W. B. DICK & COMPANY LIMITED [Signature] MANAGER, GENERAL LUBE.
