X.2512 CHASSIS - BATTERY IGNITION - FAULTY CONDENSERS.

With reference to our conversation re the above, I am sending you a further sample of a faulty condenser taken off engine No. 0223. The condenser itself is stamped No.775.

Mr.Wyer reports that we are having more trouble with condensers of late, and that this is one of 4 breakdowns in a fortnight. They have been returned to Mr.Brock, and Mr.Wyer is told that they are of a make called "Dubilier".

I do not feel that this is a good record. The insulation appears to break down without warning.
