Reference Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}12/KW11.6.36, I understand that Archer has now seen this car and is of the opinion that the lumpiness of the engine is the best that can be done. If so, it is very disappointing because it seems definitely inferior to what we have had in the past.

Can you give us any reason why we should have to accept an engine the idling speed of which is quite rough compared with the 20/25, in view of the fact that Archer considers our car up to standard ?
