Re Wells for Rear Passengers feet on L - E Cars.
TBB1/L27612.

On June 19th I sent you two blue prints and a memorandum concerning the wells fitted to your London-Edinburgh type car but have not yet received your remarks thereon. The same difficulty recurs on four or five of these bodies which Messrs Holmes of Derby have in hand, and they are awaiting instructions. Will you kindly advise us if we should re-design these wells retaining the sloping board but pushing the heel-board 1" or 1 1/2" further backward as suggested in the above memorandum.
