be increased in length 1" to 1½" at the bottom. This would allow room for really large boots, but I am afraid would not give sufficient for fitting thick matting on the heel-board.

Will you kindly advise me if you wish further designs to be got ready for the purpose of altering your car.

I attach blue prints of Mr Spinney's original scheme and the scheme fitted in the case of your car, with the passengers boot and leg sketched in in each case, the length of the boot being 12".
