S/W. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} C O P Y. C9/C5.2.32. Re: 58-GX ... Geoffrey Duveen. Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}19/T.4.2.32. Thanks for the memo from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} on this matter, and I will certainly see that Mr. Duveen receives the explanation Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} gives in regard to the exhaust heated throttle. I will also see that everyone concerned is informed of this point, in case of complaints from other customers. I do not think it has been quite appreciated that with the exhaust heated throttle it is not so necessary to keep up the temperature of the engine. In any case I think it would be a good thing to give Mr. Duveen the spring that Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} refers to, as it will probably please him to think that we have done something special for him. Will you please, therefore, arrange for it to be sent to Cricklewood, with instructions as to how it should be fitted. C. | ||
