yds. x4 117 PN.{Mr Northey}1/WT10.2.32 S/W. By from PN.{Mr Northey} Copy to Sgr. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Gx. Hmr D/Wks Chassis No. GBT-33. Grimshaw Leather. Referring to your By5/G.9.2.32 -- consideration of spring-control has arisen in this case because of the strong criticism by the customer of the spring-control of our demonstration car No. GSR-14 on which he recently had a run. He complained that there was altogether too much up and down movement of the car, especially of the pitching type, hence my proposal to fit adjustable Hartford Shock-absorbers which would enable the owner to get exactly the amount of damping he might require under varying conditions of driving. Will you please indicate what you now propose with a view to supplying a car to this customer which shall be satisfactory in respect of the criticisms which he has made of our trials car.
