RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} 1112 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}5/R.27.4.37. We have seen from the Quarterly Complaints that there have been 7 cases of noisy 25/30 axles. We asked Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/SB{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister} for more information about these, and in almost every case a new axle was fitted to overcome the trouble. The chassis numbers in question are:- GXM-56; GAN-42; GRM-52; GXM-18; GRM-75; GUL-14; GAB-3. We should be glad if you would let us know what was found wrong with the axles, or what was done to remove the trouble. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
